Day 41

Today, I'm very pleased to report that I have officially hit the half-way mark on my weight loss goal! Granted, I gave up on achieving the entire goal as I found that it was too much to try to hit, but I'm very happy to be able to say that I've cut 34.8 pounds, bringing my weight loss to exactly 50% of my total goal. Today my weight was 224.8. Also, I put on an XL shirt today that I haven't been able to wear for a long time since it was too small, and it is now too big. I've been in a XXL for quite some time now, and some of those have even been too small for me depending on the cut. Putting on a too-big-for-me XL hasn't happened to me in a long, long, long time. Like high-school (and towards the beginning at that).
So going into the homestretch now with 19 days remaining, it's nice to have a little extra wind in my sails. I'm looking forward to finishing, and each day seems much closer to attaining my goal now. In a couple weeks, I'll be eating again! I'm sure they will go by quickly.

Food cravings have subsided a bit since earlier in the week / last week as well. This has been a welcome change. It seems like the cravings have ebbs and flows, and when they came on hard, lasted for about a week. Hopefully I'm through with these for good now!

Busy day today, so I'm going to keep it short. Thank you again for all of your support and encouragement  as I move on to complete my goal!

2 Corinthians 12:9

English Standard Version (ESV)
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

~Until tomorrow
